7 Days Desert tour from Marrakech

Meet at the airport and transfer to your accommodation in Marrakech, a hotel (Riad) located in the Medina ( traditional old part of Marrakech), near to Jamaa El Fna square, souks, and fascinating historical sites to visit, free time and overnight stay.

Day 2 Marrakech Guided Visit
After breakfast, a guided tour of Marrakech. the visit includes : Bahia palace, Saadien tombs, Koutoubia mosque, Jamaa Elfna square, Souks, and more, Overnight stay in Marrakech.

Day 3 Essaouira Excursion
Pickup from your accommodation, heading to Essaouira via Chichaoua village, Sidi El Mokhtar, Argan forest where we can spot goats climbing Argan trees. We learn more about how Argan oil is extracted at a local women’s cooperative. Reaching Essaouira around 11:00am, free time visiting the city. There are many places to visit such as the fishing port of Essaouira, Skala Kasbah, which was a citadel in the times of war, the Medina of Essaouira which can be explored easily as the streets are aligned opposite to every other Medina streets in Morocco, which look like a maze, and Walk down the beach etc… Getting back to the car around 16:00pm to drive back to Marrakech by early evening.

Day 4 Marrakech - Boumalen Dades

Departure from Marrakech. The journey will take you to the Dades valley via Tizi-N-Tichka mountain pass, crossing the high Atlas Mountains, Berber Villages , Kasbahs, Ourazazate, Skoura , El kalaat Megouna, There are photos stops, relaxing breaks for lunch and coffee. Visits include: Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate Cinema Studio, Dinner & Overnight stay in a hotel in Boumalne Dades gorge.

Day 5 Boumalne Dades - Tinghir - Todra Gorge - Arfoud - Merzouga

After breakfast travel towards Merzouga desert via Tinghir visiting Todra gorge, Tinejdad, Erfoud and Rissani to the dunes of Erg Chaabi, camel ride or 4WD crossing sand dunes to your overnight desert camp. Dinner, campfire , and an opportunity to listen to traditional desert tunes , free time and overnight stay in your private tent.

Day 6 Merzouga desert to Marrakech

An early wakeup for sunrise is recommended, after breakfast, drive to Marrakech, free time and overnight stay.

Day 7 Marrakech Airport Transfer

Transfer to Marrakech Airport according to your flight time.
